Chondrosarcoma

Chondrosarcoma is a rare type of bone cancer.

As with all rare cancers, treatments are not necessarily provided within Sussex Cancer Network. It could be in a hospital outside this area, possibly in London, which has a specialist centre within it. This ensures that such treatments only take place at centres of excellence, where the doctors see enough patients to provide an expert service.
