Sarcoma - soft tissue

Sarcoma are a rare group of cancers that occur in soft tissue and also in bones. Although similar bone and soft tissue sarcomas require very different types of treatment, and are they treated at different specialist centres.

There are many types of soft tissue sarcoma, the tumours occur in muscle, fat, blood vessels or in any of the other tissues that support, surround and protect the organs of the body.
