Network Pharmacist
Kingsley Wildman
Kingsley Wildman has joined the Sussex Cancer Network from Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust where he was the Lead Pharmacist for Cancer Services.
Kingsley has already been working quite closely with the Network on proformas and the implementation of the oncology e-prescribing system and officially started with the Network on 1st January 2008.
His responsibilities in relation to oncology pharmacy services include: -
- Leading the achievement quality measures for peer review,
- Developing and leading strategic development:
- Ensuring equitable quality of services,
- Leading and monitoring clinical governance issues
- Providing training and education to primary and secondary care,
- Providing expert opinion on the horizon-scanning of NICE chemotherapy drugs,
- Contributing to National oncology pharmacy developments and
- Preparing the chemotherapy units for the transition to electronic prescribing.
Kingsley will be working closely with the individual Trust’s Cancer Pharmacists to achieve these responsibilities.
