Network Group Manager
Barbara Shearer
Barbara joined the Network in December 2005, first covering maternity leave for the Network Administrator and in May 2006 took promotion to the role of Network Group Manager.
This a new role within the Network and Barbara's responsibilities are: -
- To provide a lead role in managing, co-ordinating and scheduling the work programme and activities of the Sussex Cancer Network Tumour (cancer site-specific) and Generic Working Groups.
- Facilitate and monitor the development and implementation of NICE (National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence) Improving Outcomes Guidance for Cancer Plans ensuring agreed milestones are achieved or reported with appropriate risk assessment implementation
- Lead the SCN Tumour and Generic Groups preparation for and evidence gathering for Peer Review Assessment. Facilitate and monitor the development and implementation of the tumour and generic groups Peer Review Remedial Action reports
