Clare Dikken

Clare has been in post since September 2004 and her main responsibilities include:

Providing professional nursing leadership within the chemotherapy services across the network
Providing expert guidance on chemotherapy nursing strategic planning and guiding implementation of service improvement initiatives
Evaluation of existing policies and practice and development of new policies
Leading organisational change and supporting the implementation of the NHS Cancer Plan within chemotherapy nursing.
Developing a validated, accredited educational programme for chemotherapy nurses across the network
Developing and supporting chemotherapy educational initiatives
Working with primary care to address training and support issues.
Project management of Chemotherapy Service Improvement projects across the SCN
Co-ordination of proforma development and maintaining up-to-date proformas for the Network Website
Acting as a resource for information around chemotherapy issues for the Network
