Exceptional Care from Healthcare Professionals Caring for Cancer Patients Across Sussex (105 kb PDF)

For the second year running the SCN Partnership Group designed and distributed cards across Sussex to patients and carers, nominating staff who had provided extra support, information and care for patients, their carers and their families.

 

On the 8th September the SCN Partnership Group Chair Margaret Ticehurst was delighted to present awards to: Nicola Booth, Senior Sister, Outpatients at Eastbourne District General Hospital and to Brother Francis, Paediatric Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.

New Sussex website for people affected by cancer

The website has been designed to improve access to information on issues of concern identified by patients, carers, family members and clinical staff across Sussex and is one of the outcomes of a project funded by Macmillan Cancer Support.
