Purpose

The Lead Managers Group is responsible for facilitating the implementation of decisions and recommendations of the Network Executive Board, the Clinical Advisory Group and the national policy (eg NHS Cancer Plan) within the Network.

The Lead Managers Group supports the lead managers from organisations within the Sussex Cancer Network to ensure the development and implementation of best practice in the prevention and management of cancer in accordance with the NHS Cancer Plan, the Manual of Cancer Services (2004) and NICE Guidance on Commissioning - Improving Outcomes in Cancer (IOG).
