The NICE Guidance for Supportive and Palliative Care states that each multidisciplinary team in all provider organisations will identify a Patient Information Lead.

This paper introduces the concept of Patient Information Pathways and provides guidance for the Patient Information Leads to ensure that the network agreed Patient Information Pathways are consistently implemented throughout the network.
