Macmillan Cancer Support has a number of useful resources for healthcare professionals which might be useful, both for offering help to patients and carers but also for personal development.

The Cancer Specialist Library is one of over 20 specialist libraries and part of the National Library for Health.

Their aim is to provide high-quality, up to date cancer resources to support busy health professionals in their work. If you are looking for the latest cancer guidance, reliable evidence or news, or just need a quick and easy way of catching up with the latest developments, browse or search the Specialist Library link.

Local libraries offer highly personalised current awareness services that are based on specific professional interests.   If you would like to receive notifications of newly published journal articles, books in the library, and guidelines in your own area of work please get in touch with you local library.
