Clinical nurse specialist

The clinical nurse specialist (CNS) provides support, advice and information about the particular type of cancer.

From a patient's diagnosis until they are discharged back to the care of the GP, the CNS will be the “key worker”. Patients will be provided with their contact details in case they, or their family, need any further advice, support or have any further questions.
