The multi-disciplinary team (MDT)

The multidisciplinary team consists of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals, who all have specialist training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The MDT work closely with the patient and their family to plan and deliver the most effective treatment and care.
