HEAT Leaflet

Contact your chemotherapy ward immediately if you develop:

Any signs of infection
High temperature 38°C/100.4°F or above
Fever/shivering
Sore throat/sore mouth
Chesty cough
Feeling generally unwell
Persistent sickness
Any unexpected problems you think may be related to your chemotherapy.

Pevensey Ward (out of hours) 01323-435866, staffed by haematology nurses who have experience in chemotherapy - ask for the nurse in charge of the unit .
